Mammoth Hire requires ID verification for some hires and all deliveries to ensure security and prevent fraud. Here’s what you need to know.

Why We Verify ID

• Protects against unauthorised use of equipment.

• Ensures genuine hire patriot, and safe delivery for high-value or restricted items (e.g., mini diggers, cherry pickers).

• Required by our partner suppliers for certain hires.

What You Need

• Two Forms of ID:

  • Photo ID: Driving licence, passport, or equivalent.

  • Proof of Address: Utility bill, bank statement, or council tax letter (dated within 3 months).

• Additional Checks: For some equipment, facial recognition or a phone call may be used.

When Verification Happens

• Delivery: ID checked by the supplier’s driver at drop-off.

• Online Booking: You may be asked to upload ID during checkout for specific items.
